Project Lead: TGLP and a range of project partners
What is the project?
To deliver the Interpretation Strategy developed as part of the Grant funding bid to Heritage Lottery.
What will the project achieve?
This includes the development of an area brand, producing an Area Website and creating social media presence.
Installing a series of interpretative installations across the area as well as signage and leaflets covering a range of the TGLP projects.
The preparation of an area Marketing Strategy.
What has been done so far?
An area brand has been developed.
Interpretative panels have been produced for the Discovery Centre.
An area website has been produced.
Interpretation is installed at the Tomintoul Bird Hide and Dark Sky Discovery Sites.
Interpretation consultants, Lateral North and Forty Two Studio, have been appointed to deliver the remaining interpretation and signage at TGLP sites and other key heritage sites and places of interest. During October 2019, we are consulting on the initial ideas, themes and storylines for interpretation at these sites. Please have a look at these ideas and let us know your thoughts by 21st October.
